Project New Village is a small nonprofit organization operating in the wellness and fitness services space, based in San Diego with a focus on Southeastern San Diego. It holds 501(c)(3) status and aims to collaborate with other organizations and individuals to promote personal, community, and communal wellness in the area. Its two organizational goals are to connect residents with practical resources that support health, self-sufficiency, and well-being, and to involve youth and adults from diverse backgrounds in wellness activities that benefit the community. The organization defines social wellness as being aware of, participating in, and feeling connected to the community, including building healthy relationships and contributing to the welfare of others. As a small nonprofit, Project New Village works locally to address wellness needs through partnerships and community programs. In 2026 the organization announced it would host the Spring Solidarity Mixer on March 31, 2026, an event that celebrates urban agriculture, farm workers, and the labor leaders who advanced farm workers' rights in California.
