Project Tomorrow is a small nonprofit research organization based in Irvine, California, focused on advancing evidence-based learning experiences for K-12 students. It concentrates on the role of digital tools, content, and resources in helping learners develop skills needed for college and future careers. The organization runs the Speak Up Research Project, an annual survey that collects perspectives from students, parents, educators, librarians, principals, technology leaders, and other community members about how technology shapes learning both inside and outside school.

Since its inception in 2003, the Speak Up project has drawn input from more than 6.2 million participants. Project Tomorrow has engaged in national education policy work, including contributing to the development of the 2024 National Educational Technology Plan with the U.S. Department of Education. In 2024, the organization launched a new phase of Speak Up to underscore the ongoing need for active digital learning experiences.
