Project ECHO (Entrepreneurial Concepts Hands On!) believes in the power of entrepreneurs and the next generation of great American businesses. ECHO has taught thousands of middle and high school students throughout Southern California and beyond a formal education in business and entrepreneurship, and shares the belief that being innovative and smart is cool. ECHO offers several programs to include a year-round program that offers teens the opportunity to dive into career and industry exploration through an entrepreneurial lens. In addition, activity-based programs, clubs and after school programs are available. Project ECHO’s Teen Entrepreneurs’ Business Plan Competition serves as our capstone program and is attended by hundreds of teens. The program offers hands-on activities that teach students in-demand skills in Excel, PowerPoint, business writing, social media marketing, finance, and public speaking. Through Project ECHO, teens are able to explore new career pathways, hone real-life skills, and experience the magic of mentorship. Project ECHO is celebrating its 25th anniversary and started in the Santa Monica, CA, where its headquarters are established.
