ProjectTogether is a Berlin-based nonprofit organization that drives social transformation by creating new collective action processes and coordinating hundreds of actors to develop solutions for urgent challenges such as climate change, the corona pandemic, digitization, flight, and social cohesion. It collaborates with partners from civil society, government, and business to test instruments and methods for a transformative society, including open social innovation, citizen participation, real-life laboratories, and collective funding. Since its founding in 2015, ProjectTogether has supported more than 2,000 social initiatives and impact startups and engaged tens of thousands of citizens, with involvement from several federal ministries, eleven state governments, and sixty municipalities across ten innovation programs and participation processes such as #WirVsVirus and UpdateDeutschland. The German government has patronized its activities on several occasions, most recently in 2022 for Alliance4Ukraine, an alliance to support refugees. The organization runs the Farm-Food-Climate Challenge and Circular Futures, and is based in Berlin at 34 Karl-Liebknecht Straße, 10178, employing between 51 and 200 people.
