Protec Recycling has a goal to manage Alabama's e-waste in the most environmentally-sustainable way without compromising data security in the process. Our processes and policies are secure, green and simple. E-Recycling - We accept anything with a plug and some things without. Protec adheres to a strict no-export, no-landfill policy. All material will be processed by R2 certified downstream vendors. 100% of what we receive will either be responsibly recycled or sold for reuse. On-site hard drive destruction - Data security leaks prove to be the largest negative impact on businesses from using insufficient methods of retiring IT assets. Protec's transparent process for IT asset disposition and information destruction meets or exceeds all HIPAA, FACTA, PCI and Department of Defense requirements. An itemized report along with a Certificate of Destruction is provided to clients once the job is complete.
