Proteus, Inc. is an community-based nonprofit organization which provides exceptional education, employment, training, and other services to diverse populations in need throughout Tulare, Kings, Fresno, and Kern counties.  Founded in 1967, Proteus has become a leader at improving the quality of life of farmworkers and other special need populations; all the while, providing local employers with a well-trained pool of applicants.

Proteus is committed to providing quality, excellence and continuous improvement in the daily operation of our organization.  Our goal is to deliver services that meet our customers' needs and exceed their expectations.  With this in mind, over 300 full-time staff in over 30 offices is readily available to assist job seekers, employers, youth, adults and community stakeholders.

With pride, Proteus seeks funding from federal, state, local public and private agencies that will enable our organization to do what we do best: train, educate, and nurture a self-sufficient customer.
