As a family-run business and health-conscious consumer ourselves, we were frustrated by available insect repellent options: either toxic DEET-based repellents or ineffective natural repellents. We didn’t want to choose between the risk of disease and the risk of putting harmful chemicals on our bodies, especially our children’s. So, we developed Proven. After ten years in the repellent industry, we discovered the patented ingredient Saltidin (Picaridin) and found we could still maintain the integrity of a healthy product but the efficacy we lacked in natural products.  Proven, as brand name, is a testament to the proven protection we can offer consumers.
