Founded in 2015, Providence Magazine is a Washington, DC–based publication that analyzes global statecraft through Christian Realism. Grounded in the tradition associated with Christianity & Crisis, a Niebuhr-influenced journal, it seeks to interpret America’s vocation in world affairs and to enable conversation about how spirituality intersects with politics. The magazine aims to elevate thoughtful Christian political theology and to build a community of public thinkers who engage with national and international issues. It operates within the public policy sector as a small to mid-sized organization and maintains a daily website to publish analysis and commentary. It invites article submissions via its Managing Editor, and also curates a weekly newsletter and a DC events list for readers.
