The Providence Revolving Fund's mission is to preserve Providence’s architectural heritage and stimulate community revitalization through advocacy, lending, technical assistance, and development in historic areas. PRF is directly involved in the revitalization of historic neighborhoods and commercial areas in the city, through rehabilitation loans, ownership, development, and sale of property.  PRF has lent over $17 million in funds for more than 500 property rehabilitations over the last 36 years.  PRF also acts as an historic preservation consultant, and has consulted on more than 150 historic tax credit projects throughout the State in the last twenty years
