This core philosophy stems from the passion of Providigm's founder and CEO, Dr. Andrew Kramer. He believed the potential of the state survey process would only be realized if providers were empowered with the same quality metrics and tools as the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) surveyors. In 2006, Andrew and his brother, Peter, created Providigm to provide a way for nursing homes and centers to understand and achieve success under CMS guidelines and identify areas to improve quality.  The result was the abaqis Quality Management System.

The value of abaqis goes far beyond survey readiness and is the foundation for our expanded solutions in quality assurance, performance improvement, customer satisfaction, readmissions, and compliance.
