PUB, Singapore's National Water Agency, operates as a statutory board under the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment with a mandate to manage water issues in an integrated fashion. Its core mission is to ensure a reliable and secure water supply for Singapore and to protect the city from inland and coastal flooding. The agency oversees the Four National Taps—local catchment water, imported water, NEWater, and desalinated water—providing a diversified and sustainable water portfolio. PUB also coordinates government-wide efforts to bolster coastal and flood resilience and works with residents and businesses to promote water conservation. In March 2026, the agency launched a public awareness campaign encouraging households and businesses to conserve water.
