Puralytics has developed an award winning water purification technology using a light-activated nanotechnology coated mesh which can both disinfect and detoxify water. It significantly increases contaminant coverage and decreases operational costs and waste associated with competitive systems. Puralytics patented purification process uses only light energy, either from LEDs or sunlight, to activate an advanced nanotechnology photocatalyst. Water is purified by five simultaneous photo-chemical reactions, breaking apart chemical compounds, reducing and removing heavy metals, and sterilizing microorganisms. There are no chemical additives and 100% of the water is purified. Puralytics has entered the $20.5 Billion decentralized drinking water and industrial water treatment equipment market where water quality is critical and requirements well defined. Puralytics has entered these markets through channel partners and with three product lines: Shield - using light from LEDs, the Shield purifies up to 1000 gallons per day and is being marketed globally through channel partners for ultra-pure lab water and drinking water applications. SolarBag - one of the only a few “Purifiers” in the personal water treatment segment, having exceeded requirements of the US EPA Guide Standard and Protocol for Evaluation of Microbiological Water Purifiers. The SolarBag uses sunlight to purify water, is reusable up to 500 times and is in full scale production with over 40,000 manufactured to date. LilyPad - funded pilot testing through two significant grants where the LilyPad will be evaluated for using sunlight in treating large, open water sources including storm water run-off and agriculture irrigation water. Puralytics products have shipped to over 60 countries to-date.
