We are an independent oil and gas company engaged in the activities of acquiring, developing, exploring and producing oil and gas properties primarily in the United States and were formed as a Delaware corporation in 2002. Our oil and gas operations are concentrated onshore California, offshore California, the Gulf Coast Region, the Gulf of Mexico, the Mid-Continent Region and the Rocky Mountains. We also have an interest in an exploration block offshore Vietnam. Assets in our principal focus areas include mature properties with long-lived reserves and significant development opportunities, as well as newer properties with development and exploration potential.
