Pyro-Technical Investigations (PTI) was founded in 1992 to offer expert engineering services to the insurance industry, legal profession and manufacturing sector. Our initial focus was fire and explosion investigations, including fire related products investigations. In response to our clients’ needs we have expanded our services over the years to include electrical analyses, machinery analyses, sprinkler/extinguishing systems failures and building/construction analyses. We are proud to serve clients throughout North America.

PTI’s guiding principles incorporate a professional, unbiased investigation and analysis that is based upon sound engineering and scientific concepts and in accordance with accepted industry standards and guidance, including NFPA 921 (Guide for Fire and Explosion Investigations). We are prepared to support our findings throughout the legal process and we are recognized as experts in fire investigation, electrical analysis and product failure in courts throughout the United States.
