Who is Pyx Health? Pyx Health is an engagement company focused on the most vulnerable, hard-to-reach populations. We provide a proven solution that improves quality, outcomes and member experience, while reducing total cost of care. Our mission is to scale the power of human connection. Leveraging our deep bench of remote, trained, empathetic care coordinators paired with 24/7 user-centric mobile technology, we employ loneliness and other social health interventions to uncover and solve barriers to care. Because no one gets better alone. In 2016, Pyx Health's founders Cindy and Anne Jordan watched as a loved one’s physical and mental health declined rapidly from stable to high risk. While caring for them, they began learning about gaps in healthcare and the pervasive loneliness epidemic affecting vulnerable populations. Frustrated by the lack of care, Cindy and Anne vowed to wage a war on loneliness; determined to create an impactful solution marrying technology and compassionate human interventions. Pyx Health entered the market in 2017 with the laser-focused mission to reduce loneliness as a root cause of myriad physical and behavioral health issues for vulnerable populations. How did we do that? Simply put, we connected: We reached out. We listened. We empathized. And we acted. We learned what these members - who were lonely and disconnected from their support systems - were lacking and we acted to solve their needs. The trust built from that relationship empowers members to be more connected with their health plan and that creates better outcomes for the members AND their plan. Today Pyx Health is looking beyond loneliness to members’ and health plans’ evolving needs to imagine new solutions and create new programs that impact process and outcomes, while remaining mission focused; i.e., the 2025 acquisition of FarmboxRx. We’re using what we’ve learned about connection to redefine engagement and create trusted relationships that truly activate members.
