About Qatar Rail:

Qatar Railways Company (Qatar Rail), has been established in 2011 to design and implement an integrated world-class railway system in the state of Qatar. Qatar Rail will be the owner and manager of Qatar’s rail network and will be responsible for the design, construction, commissioning, operation and maintenance of the entire rail network and systems.  

Qatar Rail will consist of Metro, Long Distance & Light Rail Transit. Qatar Rail network will consist of approximately 750 km of track & 100 stations for both passenger and freight.
