QTEC Solutions, Inc. operates in the software development field with a focus on data, software, and services that address obsolescence for program offices and manufacturers of long-life products containing substantial electronic components. The company targets diminishing manufacturing sources and material shortages, a concern it has addressed for U.S. government agencies, the aerospace and defense sector, the Energy/Oil & Gas market, and other capital-equipment manufacturers since 2002. Its client roster includes NAVSEA, NAVWAR, multiple U.S. Army acquisition commands, and major aerospace and defense firms such as Lockheed Martin, Boeing, Northrop Grumman, Raytheon Technologies, General Dynamics, Honeywell, and Rolls-Royce.

Its flagship product, Q-Star, provides an integrated information solution that enables manufacturers to predict, view, and manage component lifecycles by anticipating degradations and disruptions to supply continuity. By delivering lifecycle predictions, collaborative capabilities, and high data accuracy, the product supports planning, decision-making, and execution across the obsolescence process. The company is based in San Diego, California, and has operated as a mid-sized software-focused organization since its founding in 2002.
