Qualis Health, one of the nation’s leading quality improvement organizations (QIO), acquired Outlook in 2005, to further enhance the scope of services it could offer clients, helping them to better align business and clinical processes with health information technology. Qualis Health was established in 1974. Prior to the acquisition, Outlook and Qualis Health had successfully collaborated on numerous Medicare-related and private-sector projects that dated back to 1996. Outlook now is a wholly owned subsidiary of Qualis Health, serving as the division that provides health information technology consulting. Today, as Qualis Health’s consulting division, Outlook focuses in the areas of information systems and technology, operations improvement, quality and compliance, and research planning and development.
