There are over 9,000 options. WHAT WE DO TO HELP!! We will help with the medical paperwork necessary to get your loved one placed. HEALTH ASSESSMENT Immediately, we will conduct an assessment by phone and if necessary in person. The goal of this needs assessment is to get a better understanding of each person's unique needs. We assess the following: Medical condition Physical needs Emotional needs Preferred social environment Location preference Budget for care and housing Based upon these needs, we will then determine which homes will best fit your loved ones needs and provide tours of several State Licensed Assisted Living Facilities and/or homes until we find one you are happy with. We will negotiate the move in date, care requirements, and pricing with the home of your choice. FACILITY SCREENINGS How do you go about determining which facility is the best for your loved one? There are over 9,000 options. So many questions need to be answered and the research required to answer them can be an overwhelming task: Is the community well-managed? Is it staffed for the type of care my loved one needs? What is the core philosophy behind the care? What are the living quarters like? Does it offer activities my loved one will enjoy? Is the environment one in which my loved one will feel comfortable, safe, respected, happy, and cared for? AFTER PLACEMENT Loving follow-up is our specialty. Several follow-up visits and calls are made after placement. We take pride in our knowledge of working with seniors for over 30 years and sensitivity is always given to each situation.
