Quantum Foundation was formed in 1995 with the net proceeds from the sale of JFK Medical Center in Atlantis, Florida. We began making grants in Palm Beach County in June 1997. The foundation has assets of approximately $160 million and since its inception has awarded $170 million to hundreds of local nonprofit grantees. Every dollar the foundation grants stays in the county to benefit local communities.
