Welcome to our LinkedIn company profile.  My name is R Scott Maxwell. I am the president and financial advisor at R Scott Maxwell Financial in Frisco, Texas.

I serve business owners, professionals, retirees and their families through a client-focused process to help protect your wealth, enjoy lifetime income and achieve peaceful wealth throughout your life. 

I am a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and earned my Master's of Business Administration from Villanova University and my Bachelor of Arts from Pomona College.

I was routinely featured on KXII Fox News 12 Good Day, KTEN NBC Channel 10 morning news and DFW CBS 11 news. Texas Monthly magazine awarded Scott the prestigious 2009, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2016 and 2017 Five Start Wealth Manager: Best in Client Satisfaction. 

D Magazine named me one of the Best Wealth Managers in Dallas in 2010. D Magazine reaffirmed the honor when they named me and my fellow advisors at my previous firm collectively as one of the Best Wealth Managers in Dallas in 2012, 2013 and 2014.

I am an Eagle Scout, former U.S. Navy officer, Graduate of the Navy's Top Gun program, former Little League manager and league president.  My sincere desire is to be defined by my servant's heart and my commitment to meaningfully impacting the lives of others.

I am a lead usher, coordinated the Crown Financial Ministries program and hosted Crown adult fellowship classes at Stonebriar Community Church in Frisco, Texas. I am an aspiring barbecue pit master (I continually seeks new recipes for my Traeger Smoker), diehard football fan and enthusiastic golfer. We live in Frisco with my lovely bride of 28 years. We have three wonderful children and two lively cats.
