Racemark International NA is a mid-sized motor vehicle manufacturing company based in Calhoun, Georgia, with a history dating to 1972. It was founded by Bob Bailey and Mark Donohue on the principle of engineering excellence in every product, and it was the first to create a custom-fit carpet car mat. Today it operates as a 100% family-owned business with manufacturing locations in the United States, Germany, Hungary, and Switzerland, serving North American and European markets and aligning with high-quality automotive and textile brands. The company’s products target automotive and related sectors seeking durable, precisely fitted interior mat solutions, addressing the need for tailored, high-quality flooring coverage. In 2019, media coverage highlighted Racemark’s pioneering role in American-made, European-style carpet floor mats in Europe, alongside reporting on challenges in that market.
