Rainmaker Entertainment, based in Vancouver, British Columbia, operates in animation and post-production. Founded in 1993 as Mainframe Entertainment, the studio created the first fully CG TV series, ReBoot, and has since produced more than 1,000 half-hours of television, more than 60 feature-length projects, and two theatrical films. The company combines a creative-driven approach with established production processes to deliver storytelling on time and on budget. In 2017, Rainmaker Entertainment joined Frederator Networks to form WOW! Unlimited Media Inc., with Mainframe Studios as a division within that group. It maintains an active production pipeline with major partners including Disney, Sony, Netflix, PBS, ABC Australia, and Spin Master, and its projects include It's Andrew, Unicorn Academy: Secrets Revealed, and Phoebe & Jay. In March 2026, Mainframe Studios announced a collaboration with Cookbook Media LLC to invest in building and owning original IP as part of its integrated commercial strategy.
