Rambo Nursery was founded in 1983 by Sam Rambo, whose humble beginnings consisted of one greenhouse where he grew annuals and perennials for local landscapers and retailers in his home town of Marietta, Georgia. Going door to door, Sam sold hanging baskets, ferns, marigolds and poinsettias. The scope of the business soon expanded to growing trees and shrubs, setting the stage for establishing Rambo Nursery’s first wholesale yard in Acworth, Georgia. Rambo Nursery has grown to encompass over a million square feet of heated greenhouse space and 120 acres of outside production. There are two facilities within 150 miles of The Home Depot stores it serves, making Rambo Nursery truly a local grower.
