rAndom International was founded in 2002 by Stuart Wood, Florian Ortkrass and Hannes Koch. After graduating from the Royal Collage of Art, they set up the studio to expand the perspective of contemporary artistic practice. rAndom develops installations that encourage a performative relationship between the animate (audience) and inanimate (object or space). The studio’s work invites human presence to bring artificial intelligence to life, creating an interaction that is distinct in its physicality.
