RANDOM INTERNATIONAL is a collaborative art studio focused on experimental practice within contemporary art, founded in 2005 by Hannes Koch and Florian Ortkrass, with studios in London and Berlin. The group operates as a compact team that engages audiences through participatory works that probe identity and autonomy in a post-digital age, seeking to provoke emotional, physically intense experiences. Its work aims to prototype behavioural environments by investigating consciousness, perception, and instinct within increasingly mechanised contexts. Rain Room, one of their most recognized works, is in the collection of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and has been shown at the YUZ Museum in Shanghai, MoMA in New York, and the Barbican in London, with an edition permanently installed at the Sharjah Art Foundation in the UAE. In 2025, the group engaged in partnerships to present live-art experiences in Hong Kong as part of Art Week, indicating ongoing expansion of collaborations beyond traditional gallery settings.
