Location and Facilities The RCC service area includes the counties of Essex, Gloucester, King and Queen, King George, King William, Lancaster, Mathews, Middlesex, New Kent, Northumberland, Richmond, and Westmoreland. The region is bordered on the north and south by the Potomac and York Rivers respectively and on the east by the Chesapeake Bay. The Glenns Campus consists of a 100-acre site in Gloucester County, and includes a large wooded area with a nature trail and pond. The 117-acre Warsaw Campus in Richmond County includes a turn-of-the-century residence, furnished with period pieces, that was donated by the Chinn family. The Justice Joseph W. Chinn Community Center houses the president’s office and the College Advancement Office; it is available for meetings, receptions, and other community events. RCC also maintains an off-campus site offering evening classes at King George High School in King George County. Classes are held at many off-campus sites throughout the region. The largest off-campus sites are in King George County (where classes are scheduled in the evening at King George High School) and in Gloucester County (where classes are scheduled in the evenings at Gloucester High School). Business Hours General business hours on each campus are from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday; 8 a.m. to noon on Friday. Evening and Saturday supervisors are available to provide assistance with administrative matters after 4:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday evenings, and Saturdays when classes are in session. Evening services are available at King George High School when classes are in session.
