Star Children’s Dress Company was established in 1936 by Julius Rosen, a patternmaker from the depression era, who set a goal to produce fashionable yet affordable dresses for girls. Over eighty years later, the styles have changed but the goal remains the same, while remaining a privately owned and operated within the family.

Our showroom is located on the 18th floor of 1250 Broadway in New York City. Our design, merchandising, and sales staff work together to show our brand-new seasonal lines several times a year. Major department stores from all over the world visit our showroom, physically and virtually, to view our latest creations. The Rare Editions brand is currently our largest influence in the market, but Star Children’s Dress Co. is also represented by many other labels, such as Rare Too, Chantilly Place, Counting Daisies, Emily Rose, Tween Diva and our Juniors Dresses, Dear Moon.
