The Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority (RAK TDA) is a government entity established in May 2011 to develop and promote the emirate’s tourism infrastructure and potential, with the aim of positioning Ras Al Khaimah as a luxury travel destination. Its mandate includes licensing, regulating, and monitoring the tourism and hospitality sector, developing attractions and infrastructure, and encouraging direct tourism investment into Ras Al Khaimah. It supports industry growth through research, international representation, education of travel professionals, and coordinated branding and campaigns. In 2026, it announced a partnership with Wego to promote Ras Al Khaimah through the RAK Moments experience-led destination campaign.
