Raynham Hall Museum is a historic house museum located in Oyster Bay, New York. It occupies the nearly 300-year-old Townsend family home and presents what it meant to be a prominent merchant and patriot, while guiding visitors through episodes of espionage, domestic life, and decorative arts. The property is owned by the Town of Oyster Bay and operated as a museum by the Friends of Raynham Hall, Inc. The organization has held accreditation from the American Alliance of Museums since 1991, and it is the only historic house museum on Long Island with that distinction. Each year, thousands of students attend class field trips, and the museum offers walk-in tours, group tours, and workshops for adults and children, along with partnerships with community groups to support historic preservation.
