RCPE, based in Graz, Austria, is a research organization focused on pharmaceutical engineering sciences and the development and manufacturing of advanced medicines. It brings together multidisciplinary expertise in modeling, materials science, process design, quality assurance and control to optimize products and manufacturing processes. The center covers the full pharmaceutical product development value chain, including continuous API synthesis, advanced formulations, next-generation manufacturing, and device design and optimization.

RCPE operates as a non-profit private entity owned by Graz University of Technology, University of Graz, and Joanneum Research GmbH, connecting science, application and industry in a business-oriented framework. It is designated as a K1 COMET Centre within the COMET programme. In May 2022, RCPE announced an integration with In Silico Trials LLC to offer its proprietary simulation as a desktop application and to integrate with InSilicoTrials’ cloud-based platform.
