Realty Abstract Services, Inc., was incorporated by Nancy C. Solack in April of 1989. This was the first independent Title Insurance Agency in Blair and the surrounding Counties. Nancy had a vision and saw the need for a firm devoted exclusively to searching, closing and insuring the title to real estate. Current Co-Owner and Corporate Secretary Sherree Otto Johannes was employed by Nancy at the time of incorporation. She, along with Co-Owner and current President, Tammy Yonkin and their staff, strive to build on that foundation. We are a service oriented business where Title Insurance has been and continues to be our only focus for the consumer and their lending institution. Addition of a staff attorney has enabled us to assist in the needs of sellers as well as buyers. Realizing the need in the Real Estate Community for a company devoted entirely to servicing their clients has been the main goal of Realty Abstract Services, Inc., for over 20 years and counting. With advancing technology, we aim to unlock the door and solve the mystery of home ownership for another quarter century and into the future as our industry changes.
