The Recirculating Farms Coalition is a small nonprofit network that brings together farmers, educators, and other nonprofits to expand local access to healthy food. It pursues research, education, and advocacy to advance eco-efficient farming systems that rely on clean recycled water as the basis for growing crops. By focusing on recirculating farms, the organization aims to create stable green jobs and supply sustainably grown fruits, vegetables, herbs, and humanely raised seafood to diverse communities across the United States and beyond.
Based in New Orleans, Louisiana, the coalition collaborates with community partners to promote local farming training and advocacy. Partnerships with organizations such as the Dryades YMCA and the New Orleans Mission illustrate its engagement with community-focused, education-oriented initiatives.
