Redeemer Radio is a broadcast media producer and distributor based in Fort Wayne, in the Midwest. It was founded in 2002 by lay Catholics in response to Pope John Paul II's call to use modern media to spread the Catholic faith. The organization operates as a small to mid-sized broadcaster and, in December 2005, purchased WLYV AM 1450 to provide full-time Catholic radio for Fort Wayne and the surrounding area. In late 2014, the service began airing on WRDI 95.7, extending its reach into the greater Michiana area. The network airs a combination of locally produced programs and content from EWTN and Ave Maria Radio, serving listeners seeking Catholic programming.
