The Regional District of Central Kootenay (RDCK) is a regional government authority serving residents across 11 electoral areas and nine municipalities in the Central Kootenay region. It provides services, governance and representation intended to advance the region’s economic, social and environmental goals within a government administration framework. Based in Nelson, British Columbia, the RDCK supports local communities with access to commonly needed services and accountable local governance, aided by roughly 350 staff.
