Regional Government Services Authority (RGS) is a public-sector cooperative based in Carmel Valley, California. Founded in 2001, it was created to help local governments address pressure from shrinking revenues, expanding service demands, and the loss of experienced staff by providing access to seasoned personnel for project management and consulting across a broad range of areas. Its mission is to deliver quality, innovative, and cost-effective services exclusively to public agencies. RGS offers expertise in human resources, planning, finance, payroll administration and employee benefits, as well as project management and related training programs, all delivered through a governance structure driven by its member agencies.
