The Regional Task Force on the Homeless is a small nonprofit based in San Diego, California, focused on addressing homelessness through data-driven coordination. It provides technical support, training, reporting, analysis, publications, advocacy, and research to support efforts within the homelessness ecosystem. Its activities serve a range of stakeholders, including service providers, city and county governments, elected officials, and federal agencies such as HUD. The organization functions as a hub for critical data reports and policy guidance to help inform decisions and measure progress. The RTFH has been described as San Diego’s lead agency for addressing homelessness and has driven regional planning efforts, including the Regional Community Action Plan to Prevent and End Homelessness. In 2024 the organization helped launch the ID Bank, a collaborative effort with Think Dignity.
