Reinauer Real Estate has been in the real estate business in Southwest Louisiana since 1940; the Reinauer family has been active in the local business community since 1887. The Company is a full service real estate company specializing in industrial and commercial sales and leases, site selection, asset and property management, appraisal review, consulting and development.

David Reinauer, president and owner, graduated from the Wharton School of Finance and Commerce of the University of Pennsylvania. He was the youngest president of the Greater Lake Charles Chamber of Commerce and the Louisiana Realtors Association; was a recipient of the Realtor of the Year award, and has held several prestigious positions with the National Association of Realtors. Appointed by Governor Foster to the Louisiana Real Estate Commission, he recently served as its chair. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, in addition to numerous other trade and civic organizations.

Reinauer is an active member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SOIR), a Certified Property Manager (CPM) as designated by the Institute Real Estate Management, a Certified Commercial-Investment Member (CCIM) of the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute, a Counselor of Real Estate and has been designated a Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager by the Realtors National Marketing Institute. He is an expert appraisal witness in district and Federal court and is a notary public.

The Company handles properties in Lafayette, Lake Charles and Sulphur, Louisiana. Reinauer is a managing and leasing agent for shopping centers in Lake Charles, Sulphur and Moss Bluff.
