Relief Medical Services, Inc. was founded in 1973. We are the oldest and most prestigious hospital staffing agency in the Chicagoland area. What sets us apart is our many years of experience, excellent staffing coordinators, support staff and over 9,000 nurses on our database.

Our nurses provide high quality nursing care to hospitals, nursing homes, clinics, and private duty patients. Our managers pride themselves on the personal attention we give to facilities and employees alike. We are staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You will not reach an answering service, answering machine, or voice mail system with us. Our clients appreciate the fact that they can count on a prompt, effective response from our staffing coordinators, which are on duty 24 hours a day.

Our nurses are part of an elite group of healthcare professionals working at over 75 facilities in and around the Chicagoland area. Each nurse we hire must undergo stringent screening and meet specific hiring criteria. All nurses receive a complete orientation before beginning work at any facility. 

Relief Medical was one of the first agencies to provide hospital staffing. Over the years, despite market changes, recessions, nursing shortages, and tremendous agency turnover, we have grown and adapted to meet the ever-changing market. We continue to meet demands by providing nurses with experience, knowledge and expertise.
