Respite Care Charleston provides services to improve the quality of life for people coping with Alzheimer's disease and other types of dementia.  

Since 1994, we have provided support for families dealing with Alzheimer's disease throughout the Charleston, SC region. We offering social day care programs at sites throughout the community, as well as caregiver support groups and support and education groups for people in the early stages of dementia and Alzheimer's disease.

Our programs offer preventative care strategies that strengthen families and protects their health and well-being. Many families take great pride and joy in providing care to their loved ones, but, the physical, emotional and financial consequences can be overwhelming without support. Our respite care services provide much-needed relief to caregivers while also providing stimulating and engaging activities for their loved ones.

Thanks to the support of generous donors and corporate sponsors, RCC is committed to providing support to those in need regardless of their ability to pay. As a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, your gifts to Respite Care Charleston are tax deductible as allowable by law.
