Restore Hetch Hetchy is a national advocacy campaign focused on restoring the Hetch Hetchy Valley in Yosemite National Park. The organization seeks to move the reservoir that currently fills the valley and return the area to its natural state, while maintaining the water supply for San Francisco. Located in San Francisco, California, the group operates within the political and conservation sectors, aiming to influence public policy and stakeholder engagement around this issue. The organization appears to have a very small formal staff, and its work includes collaboration with national partners and government agencies to advance restoration goals. A recent development notes cooperation with the National Park Service to implement recommendations that improve visitor access and build support for restoration.
