Revel Wine California operates as a beverage importer and distributor focused on natural and craft beverages, with a portfolio that includes wines from multiple U.S. regions and imports from several European countries, as well as a growing line of American craft ciders. The company emphasizes working with farmers, winegrowers, and cider makers who often employ natural, organic, or biodynamic practices and rely on spontaneous fermentations with wild yeasts, translating that emphasis into a catalog that spans both wine and cider producers. Based in Oakland, California, Revel Wine California has evolved from a California-centric offering to include wines from across the western and eastern United States, along with international imports, and it has expanded its craft cider representation since 2015. In addition to its core distribution activities, the company has pursued direct-to-consumer channels, including launching a retail webstore and a direct-to-consumer sales portal in late 2023, to respond to growing demand for natural wine formats. A recent partnership in spring 2023 with Veso Inc. signals ongoing collaboration to broaden distribution within California for natural aperitivo offerings.
