Sustainability Niche RGA Landscape Architects emphasizes sustainable and water-efficient landscape design, presenting a leadership position in eco-friendly planning that could align with clients seeking green infrastructure, drought-tolerant landscaping, and LEED or WELL certification projects.

Acquisition Angle The company was acquired by MSA Consulting at the end of 2019, suggesting potential for cross-sell opportunities with MSA’s broader services and existing client base, as well as potential integration of RGA’s design capabilities into larger scale projects.

Low Footprint With a reported revenue under one million and an extremely small team, RGA may benefit from scalable partnerships, subcontracting arrangements, or collaboration on larger bids where their specialized sustainable design expertise can augment bigger firms’ proposals.

Industry Positioning Operating in architecture and planning with a focus on landscape architecture positions RGA to target municipal, educational, and commercial development projects that require water-efficient landscape planning and multi-disciplinary coordination.

Tech and Delivery RGA’s use of common web tech stacks indicates accessible design capabilities; opportunities exist to offer digital collaboration tools, BIM-or-digital landscape modeling partnerships, or cloud-based project delivery to streamline design-to-construction workflows for clients.
