RGB Building Supplies is a wholesale supplier of building materials with origins dating back to 1850, when it began as a timber importing operation in Barnstaple under the name Rawle Gammon & Baker. It has evolved into a prominent independent builders merchant serving the South West, supplying construction professionals with materials for a range of projects. Operating in the wholesale building materials sector, the company positions itself as an independent alternative to larger chains, targeting contractors and tradespeople in its regional market. In 2021 RGB Building Supplies became part of Grant & Stone Group, creating what was described as the largest independent builders’ merchant group in southern England, and it has since pursued workforce development through apprenticeship programs. The business is based in England at a site on Riverside Road, Pottington Industrial Estate in Wythenshawe, maintaining a regional presence in the South West.
