Rhoda Goldman Plaza was founded by Jewish Family and Children's Services and Mount Zion Health Fund in May, 2000, in honor to Rhoda Goldman (1924 – February 17, 1996), an American Philanthropist that, along with her husband, Richard Goldman, founded the Richard and Rhoda Goldman Fund, a foundation that has donated over $680 million to various organizations. Rhoda Goldman Plaza is an assisted living and memory care community, built on a foundation of not-for-profit values and Jewish principles. The Organization is proud of creating a comfortable and stimulating environment for residents, through chef-prepared cuisine, cultural activities, and programs. Currently, there is capacity of over 140 rooms, with an average of 90% occupancy. To reach the standard level of services that Rhoda Goldman Plaza requires, the Organization has an average of 155 active staff members operating to support the needs of all departments: maintenance, health care, administration,activities, housekeeping, food & beverage, marketing, and residence service.
