Richard Bernstein Advisors LLC (“RBA”) is an investment manager focusing on long-only, global equity and asset allocation investment strategies. The Firm manages $17.5 billion (as of September 30, 2025) and is unique in its “top-down” research approach versus the traditional “bottom-up” style of most asset management firms.  RBA utilizes proprietary macro indicators to assess market dynamics and then forms portfolios with the assistance of quantitative tools.  Portfolios focus on allocating assets across various countries, sectors, size, and style to generate alpha, while minimizing the security selection risk of a more concentrated portfolio.

The Firm distributes products through partnerships with some of the world's leading financial institutions, including UBS Wealth Management, Merrill Lynch Wealth Management, Morgan Stanley Wealth Management, Ameriprise Financial, Wells Fargo and select RIA platforms, where RBA provides clients with tailored asset-allocation models comprised of ETFs in discretionary wrap programs; and First Trust Portfolios, where RBA creates equity-income and thematic equity-oriented portfolios in a series of unit investment trusts. Additionally, the Firm manages two indexes, the RBA American Industrial Renaissance® Index and the RBA Quality Income Index. RBA is the index provider for two exchange-traded funds available through First Trust Portfolios: the First Trust RBA American Industrial Renaissance® ETF and the First Trust RBA Deglobalization ETF.
