Richmond Performing Arts Alliance (RPAA) is a 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to advance the performing arts in the Richmond region through programs and resources that support the artists of today, nurture the artists of tomorrow, and provide spaces for the arts to thrive. 

In addition to its comprehensive BrightLights Education Initiatives and wide array of performances and productions, RPAA hosts a range of resident arts companies in a collaborative environment. The organization oversees distinctive venues at two locations: Altria Theater and Dominion Energy Center, which houses Carpenter Theatre, Rhythm Hall, Libby S. Gottwald Playhouse and the Genworth BrightLights Education Center.
