RIM Design is a woman-owned, small business in Alaska that has been providing design services worldwide for over 30 years. We offer award winning interior design services, space planning, programming, furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF&E) selection, signage and wayfinding, graphic design, display design, construction drawings for schematic through construction, bidding documents, and construction phase services. Our focus on the client and user allows us to create the best possible environment for efficient workflow, maintenance, style and flexibility. We approach each project by working closely with our client to understand their functional and space needs, identity and branding goals. By providing efficient, stimulating design solutions tailored to our client’s needs, brand, and image, we leave behind a truly unique and comfortable environment. RIM Design’s staff of nine includes eight (8) Interior Designers, four of whom hold an NCIDQ certificate, and five are LEED Accredited Professionals. This award-winning team of professionals offers excellence in comprehensive interior design services, including construction documentation, review of applicable codes, ADA compliance for interiors, and necessary permitting steps. In addition we offer FF&E specification and procurement services as well as comprehensive architectural graphics and corporate branding services. Our staff uses AutoCAD, REVIT, SketchUp, and the latest Adobe software design suite to maintain a cohesive structure with architects, engineers and other team members in addressing a project. RIM Design maintains an expansive and comprehensive resource library that is updated continuously, providing access to the latest interior finishes and furnishings from around the world.
