In November 1981, RIMCO, INC. became the Caterpillar Dealer for Puerto Rico, the U.S. and the British Virgin islands, as the successor of USI Puerto Rico, Inc., who had been the dealer since 1958. RIMCO is a privately held corporation, founded by Richard L. McConnie. In March of 2003, RIMCO acquired the Caterpillar dealership for the territory of Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean Islands. During this same year, RIMCO, Inc. incorporated the 6 Sigma methodologies to provide support in the necessary areas with the help of two Black Belts. As exclusive distributor of Caterpillar our principal mission is to be a compromise business with integrity and loyalty to its clients and at the same time with the firm purpose to offer the sales of equipment, generators, engines, rental, parts and service of the highest quality in the market. Our main facilities are located at John F. Kennedy Ave, Km 3.7, San Juan, Puerto Rico. We also have 4 rental stores strategically located for your convenience at Arecibo, Hormigueros, Ponce and San Juan.
