Rite Time Corporation was founded in 1985. In 1994 Rite Time invented, patented and started offering the Rite Time Face Down Recovery System. It was designed based on the personal experience of Alfred Heitz successful eyesight recovery following a vitrectomy eye surgery to repair a macular hole. Sandra Heitz Willwater and Al Heitz invented the Make It Rite Mirror the 2-way, face down vitrectomy recovery mirror. The Make It Rite Mirror was an integral component of the Rite Time Recovery System. When it was determined to stop manufacturing and selling the complete Rite Time System in 2013, Rite Time has continued to manufacture and sell the Make It Rite Mirror.
