The River Ridge Development Authority owns and manages the River Ridge Commerce Center, a 6,000-acre site along the Ohio River in Clark County, Indiana, developed as a modern business park. The authority was established in 1998 to redevelop the former Indiana Army Ammunition Plant, which produced smokeless propellant through World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War; it has land conveyed for private enterprise to boost the area’s economy and welfare. Recent developments include a March 2026 educational capital improvement agreement with Greater Clark County Schools, and in 2025 assets of River Ridge Commerce Center were acquired by MWI Property Group, signaling ongoing activity around its development.
